About Dr. Gamberg
Dr. Gamberg is a psychotherapist maintaining licensure in New York and in Florida. Throughout her twenty-five-year career in Behavioral Healthcare Dr. Gamberg has held clinical positions, taught at major colleges and universities; and has been a consultant to community organizations, private corporations, and to the media.
As a nationally certified member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, she has earned recognition in the area of Medical Hypnosis and Pain Management. She has published and presented research nationally about anxiety and adjustment disorder.
Her extensive training and clinical experience in the area of hypnosis has qualified her to testify as an expert witness and as a consultant to law firms. She has in the past been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator, and has many years of experience in family therapy, conflict resolution and forensic evaluation. Corporate clients utilize Dr. Gamberg’s skill in both hypnosis and psychotherapy to assist employees in achieving enhanced productivity; and develop a better work life balance.
Dr. Gamberg has treated both elders and children for depression and anxiety for over a decade. She has obtained Certification as a Geriatric Scholar through Ichan’s Mount Sinai Medical School, and New York University’s Medical School Consortium of New York Geriatric Education.
Dr. Gamberg maintains a private clinical practice in New York City.
INSURANCE
Dr. Gamberg does not accept insurance directly as payment. Payment for services is collected in full at the time of your appointment. She will provide each patient with a properly coded bill that may be submitted to insurance providers, to help in obtaining the maximum allowable reimbursement to patients directly.
